Bev
and Bob would like to welcome you to Exmoor Lodge Guest House, where
you will enjoy a friendly, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
Our
non-smoking, licensed guest house is an ideal base to do as much
or as little as you want whilst on holiday.
We
have six, mostly en-suite guest rooms with full central heating,
tea/coffee facilities, alarm clock radio and hairdryer.
Enjoy
a drink in our comfortable TV lounge with big sofas and a roaring
log fire or on the patio overlooking the garden and village green.
A
traditional English breakfast is served in the dining room and we
are pleased to provide freshly prepared, home made evening meals
and packed lunches by prior arrangement.
We
are happy to welcome children and pets too. If you would like to
bring your horse - stabling is available nearby.
We
live in the heart of Exford - a picturesque working village at the
centre of the Exmoor National Park. At 1400ft above sea level we
are only 300 ft lower than the highest point of Exmoor - Dunkery
Beacon (1700ft). This peak gives amazing views over several counties
and is easily accessible from Exford.
Exford
is home to a church, primary school, newsagents, general store and
Post Office (there is a cash machine in the PO during normal opening
hours).
There
are also two pubs in the village: the Exmoor White Horse Hotel and
the Crown Hotel.
